Riot Platforms’ November 4 presentation describes a new 910 MW critical-IT lease at Corsicana. Riot will provide land, powered pads and power-delivery infrastructure, while the unnamed frontier AI-lab tenant installs and operates modular computing systems.
Two parties share a physical system
That allocation creates an important interface between the site’s electrical infrastructure and the tenant’s equipment. Protection, maintenance access and the sequence of energisation and commissioning must be coordinated across that boundary.
Phase delivery depends on energisation
Riot projects delivery of the 400 MW first phase by September 2027. The planned load is substantial, but the presentation’s capacity figures describe future development and should be evaluated against construction and acceptance progress.
Operating boundaries need to hold
The operating test is dependable power at the point where the tenant’s modules connect. Commissioning records, operating agreements and subsequent availability would show how the divided responsibilities support a functioning campus.
